Discovery will piggy back to Florida

After a successful landing at Edwards Air Force Base, preparations are underway to send the space shuttle Discovery home.Bad weather forced the shuttle to land in California on Friday.

Now crews are working to prepare the shuttle for its cross-country piggy-back flight to Florida.

NASA is hoping the shuttle can begin its journey on Friday, but it could be delayed until Saturday due to winds.

The cross-country trek is expected to take more than a week and cost nearly two million dollars.
