Slow economy responsible for baby boom?

Analysts say since some people don't have the extra money to go out, they are staying at home and having more sex.

Meanwhile, cash-strapped couples are also opting for cheaper or generic forms of birth control.

The combination of these two facts is creating an influx of births in America.

"Yes, because we had more time on our hands I guess," said expecting mother Jennifer Stacy. "It was a nice surprise."

Researchers say this baby boom phenomenon is typical and usually takes place after a disaster or during difficult times.
