Fire damages downtown L.A. building

LOS ANGELES The fire broke out at around 12:30 a.m. Friday on the 1300 block of South Main Street.

About 75 firefighters responded to the blaze. When fire crews arrived at the scene, there were flames shooting out of the third floor of the building.

Firefighters had the blaze knocked down in about an hour and a half.

The entire third floor of the structure was destroyed by the fire.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause is still under investigation.
