Woman shot to death outside her home

HARBOR GATEWAY, Calif. Officers said Rosa Maria Rees was walking from her house to her car when someone walked up and shot her. She died at the scene

The shooting happened near West 135th Street at about 9 p.m. Friday. Police were called out and found Rees lying in front of her car.

Officers said the woman had no gang affiliations, and may have been killed during a possible robbery.

Police urged anyone with information on the slaying to call detectives at (213) 485-4341.
