The church is partnering with So Fresh Market to bring fresh fruit and vegetables to local residents.
The community hasn't had an open air farmers-type market until now.
Church members and local officials celebrated today's grand opening.
"We're all trying to eat healthier, amen? We can do better, we know so much more than we used to know about the benefit of a nutritious diet," said Dr. John Hunter, the church's senior minister.
The fame produce market will offer more than fresh veggies on Saturday and Sunday.
