Gov. Schwarzenegger weighs various bills

LOS ANGELES But the governor's spokesman now says he hasn't ruled out signing any of the bills sent to him.

When they wrapped up their legislative session Sept. 11th, lawmakers sent the governor hundreds of bills.

They include laws involving same sex marriage, insurance, maternity coverage and new rules for tattoo parlors.

"He's going to weigh each on its merits as he always does and act accordingly, but he believes the legislature ought to be focused right now on getting a water deal done," says Aaron McLear, the governor's spokesman.

The governor has until Oct. 11th to veto or sign into law, bills passed at the end of the session.
