The man found a key to the dog kennel, opened it up and gave the puppy to his daughter, and the two walked out of the store.
Earlier this year, two men stole a Lab Retriever puppy from the same store.
Anyone with information on the theft is urged to call the Orange County Sheriff's Department at (866) 847-6273.
