UCSB forced to close Ventura campus

VENTURA, Calif. The university blames budget cuts totaling $45 million.

It's unclear when the Ventura campus will actually close, but UCSB has stopped enrolling students.

The campus currently has 65 students.

The Ventura site is the second closed in the past year. UCSB says budget issues also forced it to close its Santa Maria campus.
