According to the Los Angeles City Fire Department, the student was stabbed in the chest and suffered from a minor puncture wound. The student was taken to the hospital and has since been released.
The /*Los Angeles Unified School District*/ says a second student has been detained in the incident.
The school was placed in lockdown while the stabbing was being investigated.
