Fire tears through La Canada home

LA CANADA, Calif. Firefighters were sent to the 5300 block of Ivafern Lane at 8:09 a.m.. The house is located just east of the La Canada Flintridge Country Club.

It took crews about 45 minutes to put out the fire. Nobody was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. A damage estimate has not been released.
