Woman fakes miscarriage, abandons baby

LANCASTER, Calif. Investigators say 19-year-old /*Alyna Gutierrez*/ arrived at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center last week, complaining of abdominal pain and bleeding.

She claimed she had just suffered a miscarriage.

Doctors determined she had given birth.

Gutierrez' mother found a baby girl, wrapped in towels in her daughter's bedroom.

Gutierrez is facing attempted murder and child neglect charges.

She's being held on $1 million bail.

She is due in court on Thursday.

Her baby girl is in good condition.
