Police say she had been tortured and suffocated.
Randone has been charged with the crimes.
"A lot of pain for us, and every time I go to her room, the emptiness. I cannot express how a mother loses her child," said Elizabeth Tang, the victim's mother.
Randone was in court today, but his preliminary hearing was continued.
Tang's mother says she will be in court every day until the case is concluded.
