Man sets fire in hotel room, arrested

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. Robert Cooper was booked on suspicion of arson, making terrorist threats, battery, resisting arrest and disconnecting a fire alarm.

Deputies say Cooper set fire to papers in his room at a Holiday Inn on La Paz Road in Laguna Hills.

He got into a scuffle with the manager who turned up to investigate the smell of smoke. Cooper ran away to a nearby coffee shop.

Orange County Sheriff's deputies tasered cooper at a nearby bank.
