Mammoth closes after 3 days of snow

MAMMOTH LAKES, Calif. Visitors enjoyed fresh mounds of snow when the mountain opened day on Friday, after a big storm brought a healthy dose of snow.

Then, temperatures soared it all disappeared.

Mammoth says it hopes that temperatures will drop, allowing snow-making machines to get to work.
