At 4 p.m. the Nokia Theatre will host the red carpet premiere of the "Michael Jackson's This Is It" movie. More traffic is expected as the movie starts at 6 p.m. Then at 7:30 p.m. the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers will open their NBA seasons at Staples Center. These events will be followed by the grand opening of the Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14 at 9:00 p.m.
Increased traffic is expected in the area before 3:00 p.m. and 11 p.m., and people should plan accordingly.
