Body in Brentwood garage identified

LOS ANGELES Richard Traweek, 65, was discovered on the garage floor of his apartment building Wednesday. He had been shot to death.

Traweek had been a multimillionaire, having raised more than $120 million from investors in real estate partnerships in the 1980s. Later, he ran into legal trouble and reportedly lost his fortune.

The shooting remains under investigation.
