When police stopped a vehicle matching a caller's description, they found the men in hooded sweatshirts with marker scribbled all over their faces.
They face charges of attempted burglary. McNelly is also charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Police believe they chose that home because one of the men suspected his girlfriend had a relationship with a man who lived there.
