Metrolink train hits truck causing delays

NORWALK, Calif. It happened about 6:45 a.m. in Norwalk, near Rosecrans Avenue and Marquardt Avenue. The train had left from Oceanside at 5:20 a.m.

According to Metrolink, a Chevy truck was making a left turn onto Rosecrans when the truck stalled and the train crashed into the vehicle. The driver got away without injury.

The commuter train resumed operations about one and a half hours after the accident.
