'Princess and the Frog' premieres Sunday

BURBANK, Calif. The story centers around a girl named Tiana, Disney's first African American princess and a frog prince who wants to be human again.

A fateful kiss takes them on a wild journey.

The stars of the film say they're so excited to be a part of the animated project.

"It's so much fun to be in that booth and to create like that where you're sort of making something organic," said Anika Noni Rose who is the voice of Princess Tiana.

"I think this is what we all hope will be another classic into the Disney unforgettable animated family experience," said Bruno Campos who is the voice of Prince Naveen.

"The Princess and the Frog" opens late November in Los Angeles, and on Dec. 11 nationwide.

Disney is the parent company of ABC7.
