During the chase, police say the suspect fired several times at police vehicles. It ended at Twining Street in Rubidoux, where two suspects ran from the vehicle.
A search by members of the Riverside County Sheriff's SWAT team turned up several people.
Mark Wallace, 30, and Lisa Marlene Mitchell, 43, were taken into custody on multiple counts of attempted murder on a police officer, weapons charges, felony reckless driving and a parole violation.
The suspects are being held at Robert Presley Detention Center.
