Fashionistas, grab your credit cards and get ready to do some damage. Hundreds of companies have donated the latest fashions for the 17th annual Divine Design event to help Project Angel Food.Project Angel Food is an organization that has delivered more than 6 million meals to those debilitated by AIDS and other life-threatening diseases over the past decade.

"We deliver free of charge, cook, prepare and deliver meals to men, women and children, " said Diana Bianchin of Project Angel Food. Bianchin said they have seen an increase in people in need with cancer.

The event is being held at the former Robinsons-May in Beverly Hills, 9900 Wilshire Blvd. A VIP sale is being held on Thursday, and general shopping starts Friday and runs through Monday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.

Designers like Calvin Klein, Ed Hardy and Marc Jacobs have donated goods, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Project Angel Food.

Last year, Divine Design raised $2 million, and this year, organizers say they have even more merchandise, so they're hoping to beat the $2 million mark.

Free parking is available at the event.
