Man indicted for dead daughter in RV freezer

SANTA ANA, Calif. Clarence Butterfield, 56, was indicted Tuesday on one count of murder during torture and mayhem and one count of assault with a firearm.

He is accused of shooting and suffocating his daughter Rebekah in 2006 and storing her body in a 5-foot freezer.

The badly decomposing body was discovered in his RV last year after he was arrested and sent to Nevada on unrelated charges.

Butterfield is set to be arraigned Dec. 15.
