The man, who is in his 70s, was bitten several times on his arms. He was taken to Kaiser Woodland Hills with puncture wounds.
Animal control was investigating the attack.

ENCINO, Calif. Officials said eyewitnesses honked their car horns to scare off the pit bills during the attack on the 17900 block of Burbank Boulevard. The owner of the dogs ran out and grabbed the dogs.
