CHP officers say 43-year-old Thomas Vanauken of Anaheim was driving at over 120 miles per hour when he slammed into the back of a Mitsubishi, hit the center divider and flipped over.
The victim, a 42-year-old woman from Ontario, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Two passengers were injured in the crash.
Vanauken was booked for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
