He was charged with four counts of sexual intercourse or sodomy with a child under 10 and five counts of lewd acts with a child under 14.
Sheriff's deputies arrested Villanueva Saturday at a home on Cajalco Road near Dawson Canyon Road in Perris. He was booked for investigation of lewd acts with a child.
According to court documents, he also faces allegations of inflicting great bodily injury.
He is being held on $1 million bail.
