BUENA PARK, Calif. 20-year-old Miguel Angel Manzo, of Buena Park, is accused of smashing the driver's side window of a squad car in the 8000 block of Eighth Street just before 2 a.m. Thursday. The officer caught Manzo about a block away as he tried to climb a fence, according to Sgt. Bill Kohanek.
As the officer tried to arrest Manzo they got into a scuffle with both suffering minor injuries, said Kohanek.
Several Orange County firefighters and Buena Park police officers helped subdue the suspect.
Manzo was arrested on suspicion of assault and vandalism and jailed on $25,000 bail.
