Security guard injured in Hollywood shooting

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. The guard, a 45-year-old man, was shot near a business at the corner of Western Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard at about 6:30 p.m. He was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. He remained in critical condition on Tuesday.

Police are looking for two men in the shooting, but no suspect descriptions were available. Authorities said the suspects may be gang members.
