Police say foul play is not suspected in the 41-year-old actor's death, and they have yet to release the cause of death. But Koenig's father, Walter Koenig, who starred in the original "Star Trek" television series, says his son took his own life.
Koenig was visiting friends in Vancouver when he went missing more than a week ago. His father says the actor stopped taking antidepressant medication about a year ago.
The Venice, California, native was best known for his role as Boner, a pal of star Kirk Cameron's character, Mike, on the hit 1980s TV show "/*Growing Pains*/."
