The restaurant first tried adding an 18 percent gratuity to her check, but she complained, and the next time she returned, they refused to seat her.
"It's unjustifiable as to why you would single out one or two people, when you have a full restaurant full of people," Covington said. "You're not charging them one thing, but you want to charge me one thing. So yeah, there's a lot of injustice that concerns me."
Covington has started a petition demanding fair treatment. She says she's always left a good tip.
