With the Academy Awards countdown at just nine days, this could be a good weekend to catch up on some Oscar nominated films. Entertainment guru George Pennacchio asked several stars which films, or performances, they think are on the "must see" list."Avatar" has been a box office sensation and has earned a leading nine Academy Award nominations. The sci-fi film has been a huge hit, anyway you look at it. And it's a favorite of actress Anne Hathaway.

"That's a film experience. It's gonna be a once in a lifetime for a lot of people, myself included," said Hathaway. "You can't give it enough awards."

But "Avatar's" not the only film that has Hollywood talking.

"We saw 'Up in the Air' a while ago and that movie has stayed with me," said actor Scott Bakula. "The climate, the country, that stays with me."

"Chris Waltz, unbelievable! Mo'Nique, never saw anything like that. Extraordinary," said actress Shirley Maclaine. "I loved Meryl and I loved Sandra. I would have a hard time deciding between those two."

When I talked to Jamie Foxx to find out whose performance really spoke to him he went had no doubt in his mind when answering.

"When I saw Mo'Nique I said to myself, 'This is a tough movie to watch,'" said Foxx. "But the job she did with that character, when she was sitting in that counselor's office, I went just 'Wow, this is what it's about.'"

Christoph Waltz in 'Inglorious Bastards' will winning everything, but I'd give him everything I think because he's amazing," said actress Carey Mulligan. "He's probably my favorite this year."

And if you are wondering who are Christoph's favorites? Only everyone.

As your career goes on, and you understand being an actor, you sit in the movies and get blown away by the mere fact that these people do what they're doing," said Waltz. "So if you ask me which performance blows me away, every single one."
