Adelanto prison warden indicted on 6 counts

RIVERSIDE, Calif. Scott Holencik, 45, was named in a six count indictment. The allegations include making false statements to investigators in connection with a probe into internet postings. The postings reportedly revealed confidential information about criminal investigations.

At least one of the postings is believed to have dealt with an inmate gambling scheme at the prison. Holencik reportedly denies making those internet postings.

Prosecutors say Holencik faces a maximum 14 years in prison if convicted of all charges. He's scheduled to be arraigned April 21. The Adelanto prison facility handles 1,500 federal prisoners.
