Miguel Perez, 18, was found lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds. Deputies tried to revive Perez.
However, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff's Major Crimes Bureau developed key information the case.
On April 19, 2010, at approximately 1 a.m., the Sheriff's Major Crimes Unit arrested a 17-year-old juvenile for the murder.
The suspect was interviewed and taken to the Juvenile Justice Center.
He's now charged with murder and criminal street terrorism.
The suspect's name was not revealed because of his age.
