Hollywood studios cuts down their trash

HOLLYWOOD The /*Solid Waste Task Force*/ says studios diverted 66 percent of their sets and other solid waste away from landfills in an industry wide effort to be more environmentally friendly. Officials say recycling and reusing sets has reached an all time high since the effort was started in the early 1990s.

Disney plans to donate a portion of their ticket sales for its new film "Oceans " to support coral reef conservation. Fox is marking the 40th anniversary of /*Earth Day*/ with a pledge to plant a million trees around the world by the end of 2010.
