In addition to the seized dogs, officers also seized a cat with four kittens and found one dead puppy. Authorities say that a few healthy dogs were left on the property.
Spadaro calls herself an animal activist and was cited last year for not having licenses or vaccination proof for more than 200 dogs at a kennel.
When reached by phone Friday, Spadaro said that she had not heard the details of the seizures and had no comment. She has not been cited or arrested.
