Police and L.A. County firefighters responded to a report of a car driven into a Whittier building Tuesday.A vehicle slammed through the front of a Check 'n Go check-cashing store and into a Taco Yadira restaurant next door at a strip mall at 11873 Whittier Blvd. Building-and-safety officials were en route to assess the structural integrity of the building.
