3 suspects w/ badges ransack Oxnard home

OXNARD, Calif. According to Oxnard police, the three suspects knocked on the door of the residence in the 1300 block of Torero Drive at around 10:15 p.m. Saturday. The victims saw that the suspects were wearing what looked liked security guard badges.

One of the victims opened the door and was immediately overpowered, taken to the ground and tied up. The suspects then went upstairs where they tied up several more victims.

Authorities say that the burglars then ransacked the house and took off with an undisclosed amount of property. The victims said the suspects drove off in a black SUV but could not decipher what direction they were headed.

The suspects are described as a 20-30 year-old Asian male with a thin build, a Hispanic male with a muscular build in his 30s and a heavyset Asian male in his 30s.

There were five victims in the residence, and none of them were seriously injured.
