Driver arrested in hit-and-run crash

A driver suspected in a weekend hit-and-run crash is in custody, and the Los Angeles Police Department is urging possible witnesses to the crash to come forward. Two pedestrians were injured near downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, May 9. One suffered a fractured leg, the other a broken kneecap.

Police booked Mynor Antonio Rodriguez, 44, of Los Angeles, on suspicion of felony hit-and-run following his arrest. Rodriguez's bail is set at $50,000.

Police say the pedestrians were struck by an SUV as they crossed Third Street at Boylston Street. Officers arrested Rodriguez at his home.
