According to witnesses, a husband and wife were leaving the club when a car slammed into the husband and kept going. The victim was rushed to the hospital with a concussion, cuts and bruises. He was expected to recover.
Police said the suspect's car was a four-door silver or white 2001 Toyota registered to a Tustin man. Officers who went to the registered owner's address could not locate the car and were told by occupants of the home that the residents had recently moved.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the accident was asked to call Costa Mesa Police traffic investigators at (714) 754-5252.
