Pair of earthquakes rattles SoCal overnight

MALIBU, Calif. A magnitude 3.0 hit at about 4:30 a.m. and was centered three miles east of Culver City. The shaking was felt in several areas including Hyde Park, the Crenshaw District and South Gate.

About 30 minutes earlier a magnitude 2.6 quake struck about four miles southeast of Ontario.

The earthquakes follow a magnitude 3.9 trembler that struck off the coast of Port Hueneme in Ventura County Friday night. The quake hit at 8:19 p.m.

Viewers from Ventura County, Malibu, South L.A., and Calabasas called into the Eyewitness Newsroom and reported feeling Friday's quake.

There were no immediate reports of any damage or injuries from any of the quakes.
