Murphy brought his children and Antonio Banderas arrived with his wife /*Melanie Griffith*/. Banderas is the voice of the character Puss in Boots, who appears to have gained a little weight in the latest "Shrek" film.
It's the fourth and final installment of the successful animated series. The stars say they've grown attached to their animated characters over the years.
"I would do the 'Shreks' until the audience threw up on their shirts, in 3D," said Murphy, the voice of Donkey in the movie.
"Shrek Forever After" hits theaters Friday, May 21.
