Police said an officer feared for his life and fired at Ojeda. Ojeda was not hit and ran back into his home, with the rifle still in his hands.
/*SWAT*/ was called out and after a short time, Ojeda was taken into police custody. A rifle was recovered inside the home. Police said there were no hostages involved.
The officer-involved shooting is under investigation. The officer, who is a five-and-a-half-year veteran of the police force, is not being identified.
Ojeda was booked for unlawful discharge of a firearm, discharge of a firearm in a grossly negligent manner and drawing or exhibiting a firearm in the presence of a police officer.
