Thousand Oaks bank robbery suspects at large

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. According to Thousand Oaks police, the suspects entered the First California Bank at 11 East Hillcrest Drive at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Investigators say they demanded cash from a teller then struck her on the head when they believed she wasn't moving fast enough. Police say the employee was not seriously injured.

The two suspects then left the area in a white sedan. Deputies arrived on scene quickly, but were unable to locate the suspects or their vehicle.

Witnesses described the first suspect as a black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 185 to 190 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray ski mask, gray sweat pants, and white tennis shoes.

The second suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build, wearing a dark sweatshirt, gray ski mask, and dark pants. Both suspects appeared to be in their 20s or 30s.
