Patrol car crashes through fence, lands on cars

LOS ANGELES Two female officers were responding to an "officer needs backup" call at about 10:40 a.m. when they swerved to avoid a car which made a turn in front of them.

They lost control and crashed through the fence near Florence and Vermont.

The patrol car landed in top of two parked vehicles. Fortunately, there was no one in either of the two parked cars.

The two officers suffered minor bumps and bruises and were transported to the hospital for evaluation.
