The search for a pregnant Fontana teen believed to have been killed more than two weeks ago and dumped in the trash continued Wednesday at the Mid-Valley Sanitary Landfill in Rialto. The search was delayed yesterday, when crews found a large piece of skin. An investigation by the San Bernardino County Coroner's Office showed it was pig skin and not related to the search for Anyssia Escamilla.

The pregnant 17-year-old was last seen in early May. Her boyfriend, Jesus Avitia Jr., 18, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to murder. Fontana Police say he confessed to killing the girl, who reportedly was pregnant with his child.

Fontana Police also say Avitia admitted dumping Escamilla in the trash.

The search at the Rialto landfill could wrap up Wednesday afternoon and move on Thursday to a Corona landfill.
