Romero reached the summit Saturday with his father, his father's girlfriend and three Sherpa guides. Before him, the youngest person to reach the summit was a 16-year-old from /*Nepal*/.
"We were having the time of our lives, and it was the best view that you can get anywhere in the world," said Romero.
Romero is now close to his ultimate goal of climbing the highest peak on each of the seven continents. The only left is the Vinson Massif in Antarctica. He hopes to take on that later this year.
