Ventura County prosecutors say Heather Locklear won't be charged for a hit-and-run crash. Locklear was arrested in April for allegedly running over a no-parking sign and leaving the scene without reporting it.

Officials say there was not enough evidence to establish who was driving the car at the time of the incident.

The 48-year-old was later cited for misdemeanor hit-and-run.

The 2005 BMW sedan is registered to the actress and her ex-husband, Richard Sambora.

The "Melrose Place" star has a previous arrest for driving under the influence of prescription drugs; she pleaded guilty last year to a lesser charge of reckless driving.
