Ben Kingsley receives Walk of Fame star

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. /*Jerry Bruckheimer*/, the producer of "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," joined the 66-year-old actor in speaking in the late-morning ceremony in front of Madame Tussauds Hollywood.

Kingsley won a best actor /*Oscar*/ in 1983 for his portrayal of Mohandas Gandhi in "Gandhi."

He also received a best actor Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of a former Iranian Army colonel in the 2003 film "House of Sand and Fog," and best supporting actor nominations for his roles as Meyer Lansky in "Bugsy" and a brutal gangster in "Sexy Beast."
