Ben Kingsley receives Walk of Fame star

Ben Kingsley received the 2,410th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday, one day before the release of his latest film, "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time."Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer of "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," joined the 66-year-old actor in speaking in the late-morning ceremony in front of Madame Tussauds Hollywood.

Kingsley won a best actor Oscar in 1983 for his portrayal of Mohandas Gandhi in "Gandhi."

He also received a best actor Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of a former Iranian Army colonel in the 2003 film "House of Sand and Fog," and best supporting actor nominations for his roles as Meyer Lansky in "Bugsy" and a brutal gangster in "Sexy Beast."
