Street racing suspected in fatal Hwy 18 crash

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. Authorities are looking into whether street racing played a role in the deadly crash.

The crash, involving a Honda Pilot, Dodge Neon and Nissan GSX, happened around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say the Dodge and the Nissan collided head on. A passenger in the Nissan was killed and three other people had to be hospitalized with injuries ranging from moderate to critical.

Investigators say they received reports from witnesses that some of the drivers were racing, but they're still trying to confirm it.
