RANCHOS DE TAOS, N.M. /*Hopper's*/ simple wooden coffin was ushered into the adobe chapel at historic San Francisco de Asis church in Taos, New Mexico.

The 74-year-old celebrity lived in New Mexico for 40 years.

Jack Nicholson and Val Kilmer were among the actors who joined dozens of Hopper's relatives at the service.
