Ten rescued from school carnival ride

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. The Ferris wheel got stuck about 7:45 p.m. Thursday, leaving seven children and three adults with no way to get down.

Firefighters responded to the emergency, using a ladder truck to rescue the riders. Witnesses say it was a real nail-biter.

"They just took the ladder up and they brought the kids down and we were all over here watching. There's a whole bunch of people over here and was very, very, like I was anxious, " said Dalia Kaissi, who watched the rescue.

No one was hurt. It's not clear what caused the Ferris wheel to break down.
